| Nature and art have always been a large part of Greg's life. He grew up in rural Nebraska where he studied wildlife biology and art at the University of Nebraska. He spent ten years in Colorado, exploring and painting the vast landscape of Rocky Mountains. Attracted to the rugged beauty of the Adirondacks and the picturesque countryside of Upstate New York, he and his wife decided to settle in the Adirondacks. Greg enjoys the experience of translating the emotional potential of the scene into a painting. His goal is to portray feelings of mystery in his oil paintings, the awe of adventure combined with an apprehension of the unknown.
